Water

This is a poem from my one-word challenge, part of the If it Stirs You series.

It was he who ravaged me

pinned against the rock

fiercely pushed beyond my pain

burst through every lock

I opened to him freely

current through my veins

splashing beads upon my face

aching, let it rain

The river took my memory

set my demons free

rapids cleaned my every sore

water is now me
