Let Us Be Heard

A collaborative book of anonymous, true stories

This book is built from real voices. Yours could be one of them.

Let Us Be Heard is a curated collection of short, anonymous stories exploring the duality of being human. The moments that cracked something open. The quiet decisions that changed everything. The contradictions we carry. The truths we don’t always say out loud.

I’m inviting parents, creatives, caregivers, builders, quiet observers, and everyday humans who have lived, lost, learned, resisted, forgiven, or transformed to share their experiences.

You do not need to write your story.
Instead, I will listen.

If you choose to participate, we’ll connect through a brief interview or guided conversation. From your words, reflections, and memories, I will write the story on your behalf, shaping it with care, honesty, and respect. You bring the lived experience. I bring the craft.

Your story might explore:

  • A moment that changed you
  • Something you overcame or slowly outgrew
  • A belief that unraveled over time
  • A quiet rebellion or turning point
  • A path you didn’t take and why
  • When your shadow-self surfaced
  • What allowed you to forgive
  • What brings you back to joy
  • How perspective reshaped your life

This book centers the truth that we can hold pain, love, grief, hope, and joy at the same time—and that our choices ripple outward in ways we rarely see.

What to know

  • All stories are anonymous. No names or identifying details will be used.
  • You don’t need writing experience. Speaking honestly is enough.
  • You will be treated with care, consent, and respect throughout the process.

Why participate?

This is a collaborative act. A weaving of voices. A way of being witnessed without being exposed. Sharing your story is both an offering and an opening—one that often changes the teller as much as the reader.

Being human is brutal, tender, absurd, painful, joyful, and transcendent—sometimes all in the same breath. This book exists to hold all of it.

I would be honored to listen.
